Below our the notes on the discussions and progress being made in revising HOA documents.
Currently, the Board is meeting approximately once per month to work on proposed revisions based upon information gleaned from past community meetings, prior CC&R committee notes, and previous surveys. We expect to vote on the final version at the June 8 BOD Community Meeting.
June 8, 2023: VOTE!
May 9, 2023: Distribution of final copies of CCR's, Bylaws and respective comparison documents to the community. Documents were also added to the HOA website.
April 20, 2023: Draft of CCR's and Bylaws were reviewed by legal counsel. Minor edits were suggested and will be incorporated. A final draft will be uploaded here and distributed to property owners once those updates are complete.
November 21, 2022: BOD sent an email to HOA members showing latest draft of Bylaws and CC&R's. These are draft versions and we are seeking community input and feedback.
September 7, 2022: BOD sent an email to HOA members with a survey for "Split Rail Fences" and CCR Modification". In addition a draft of the Bylaws was attached. Responses to the Surveys and the Bylaws draft are wanted by September 20th. Please email responses to crehoa@yahoo.com.
June 19, 2022 : BOD sent out an email to HOA members with a proposed version of CC&R changes. If you did not get this email please contact the BOD. HOA members are encouraged to give their input by prior to the July 7 (week prior to BOD Meeting).
If you have input please send us a message.
If we do nothing (not vote for an another extension or enact a new set of CC&Rs) the CC&Rs go away in 2027 since they were extended for 5 years in 2021.
A survey in 2019 indicated that 85% of homeowners who responded (37) would like to continue to have an HOA with CC&Rs. Many of those stated that they would prefer to have changes made to the CC&Rs and Bylaws. Not all agree on the changes that should be made. So in order to continue to have CC&Rs, whether to keep the rules and laws that exist today or an new set, compromises will need to be made.
